Description

Useful in all kinds of pains like rheumatism, gout, sciatica, etc. Expels uric acid deposits from the blood and joints. Removes constipation. This medicine has anti-inflammatory, relief in joint pain, uric acid reducing and laxative properties and is useful in inflammatory conditions of joints. Majun was introduced by Egyptians and Hakim Hurmus is said the inventor. Generally, Majun is spoken for those preparations, which is produced from drug powder and sugar solution. Word Majun is derived from Ijn, which means to mix. In this preparation powder of drugs is mixed well in a particular consistency of solution of sugar or honey. Their names are given on the names of inventor, chief ingredients or actions.

Dosage: To be taken 5 grams or 1/2 teaspoon twice a day with lukewarm water.
